It actually turned out a lot more like rocks on my finger than I anticipated. But it's that personal once-in-a-lifetime extravagance. This is for those of you who are curious- whoever you are. Rubies from Thailand, a diamond from Oh Canada and Moonstones from Madagascar.

Funny how life's plates (or, according to one of my friends- "the branches on your tree of life") can be so full of fresh ingredients on one hand (no pun intended) and yet so stale and fermented on another. And thus the universe ensures we are never bored.
