Oakland's Animals Have Reason to Celebrate

On April 18th, the City of Oakland announced one thing it IS doing right- it finally after far too many years and political power plays promoted Megan Webb to the job as Animal Services Director.

There is no more dedicated or devoted a person to animals with any more star power than Megan! I've been out of the active force now as a mentor for over a year, but I can say Oakland will continue to have new reasons to be proud for leading the national field in best practices for shelter and volunteer management.
